Volunteering can give you the opportunity to try something new, gain experience, develop skills, improve your career prospects, build confidence and meet new people.
You could volunteer with the Health in Mind team or with one of our 4 partner mental health charities.

Health in Mind
Administration Volunteer
The Health in Mind team are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to assist with project administration in their offices in Holywood Library.

If you enjoy meeting new people and would like the opportunity to promote positive mental health and wellbeing across Northern Ireland the Health in Mind team are looking for an Events Volunteer.

Action Mental Health
Craft Tutor
If you have a love for crafts and would be interested in assisting with the delivery of Creative Craft classes why not volunteer with Action Mental Health team in Derriaghey.

I.T. Tutor
I.T skills can greatly enhance a persons ability to seek employment, communicate with friends and family and learn new things. The Action Mental Health team in Derriaghey are looking for an I.T. enthusiast to support adults with mental health issues to develop their I.T. skills.

Aware Defeat Depression
Community Information Volunteers
A key service of the Health in Mind project is to provide high quality mental health and wellbeing information. Aware Defeat Depression are currently looking for Community Information Volunteers to assist the Health in Mind team in information provision in Libraries across Northern Ireland.

CAUSE
Administration Volunteer
Volunteer at CAUSE Head Office and assist the administration team with the day to day running of the office, scheduled mailings and events co–ordination.

Communications Volunteer
Help CAUSE increase awareness of the services available for carers of people with mental illness in the local community. This dynamic role provides fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a number of key communication networks.

Volunteer Training and Engagement Advisor
Assist the carer advocacy team in the delivery of training and talks to carers about caring and help the team build relationships with key statutory agencies using your own unique experience and knowledge.
